CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY & HABITABLE SENSIBILITY

We create the architecture of tomorrow by building virtually today

At PatagoniaBIM SpA we merge the precision of the 100% BIM methodology with the hyperrealism of 3D visualization and our own software solutions. We design spaces that respond intelligently to their environment, from the density of Santiago to the climatic vastness of Patagonia.

Our Philosophy: Design of Extremes

How do we adapt to the territory?

In Chile, geography imposes a double challenge on us: solving the regulatory and spatial complexity of large cities like Santiago, and withstanding the thermal rigor and extreme wind pressures of Patagonia (Punta Arenas). We do not believe in generic architecture. Our philosophy holds that every project must be born from an intimate dialogue with its territory. That is why we design efficient thermal envelopes, analyze the sun path parametrically and project structures capable of integrating harmoniously into the natural or urban landscape.

Virtualize before building

Our working methodology eliminates uncertainty on site. We build the project digitally in full before moving the first cubic meter of earth. Through Building Information Modeling (BIM) at executive development levels (LOD 300 / LOD 350), we coordinate architecture, structural engineering and mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems simultaneously.

Benefits of our approach for your project:

01

Zero unexpected issues

Automated collision detection between beams and ventilation ducts during the design phase.

02

Exact budgets

Quantity takeoffs and metric computations linked in real time to the three-dimensional model.

03

Spatial simulation

Photorealistic immersive walkthroughs that let you validate aesthetic and layout decisions before building.

Our Commitment to Transparency and Support

PatagoniaBIM SpA is a company formally incorporated in Chile under Tax Identification Number (RUT) 77.802.818-2, with its legal head office registered at Los Lirios 69, Colina (Metropolitan Region) and active operations in the Magallanes Region (Punta Arenas). This solid corporate structure guarantees private clients, construction companies and architecture firms optimal technical, commercial and fiscal support in each of our consultancies and executive project sign-offs.

The Leadership Team and Collaboration Network

Christian Felipe Andrés Ávila Jaramillo

Founder, CEO and Project Director

Christian is the creative and technological engine of PatagoniaBIM. As an Architect graduated from Universidad Mayor and holding a Master’s in International BIM Management, he has led the development of more than 50 successful projects, combining traditional architectural design with innovations in 3D programming, photogrammetry and process automation.

“Technology does not replace the architect’s intuition; it empowers it to become precise, viable and sustainable.”

His solid technical foundation is backed by prestigious accreditations from the global industry:

  • ◆

Autodesk Certified Revit Professional: Advanced high-performance training in parametric architectural modeling, advanced structural design and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineering.

  • ◆

Chaos Group V-Ray Specialist: Certified specialist in high-impact photorealistic rendering and physical light behavior simulation in materials.

  • ◆

Google UX Design Professional: Certified User Experience designer, applying human-centered usability principles to both physical space design and digital tool development.

  • ◆

Certified Growth Hacker: Specialist in user acquisition methodologies and digital audience retention in innovation environments (SENCE & Fundación Telefónica).

Multidisciplinary Collaboration Network

We understand that contemporary architecture requires an integrated, multi-specialty approach. That is why PatagoniaBIM operates through a network of highly specialized direct collaborators:

Juan Pablo Violic

Collaborating Architect

Local specialist based in the Magallanes Region. Juan Pablo brings deep regulatory knowledge, experience in technical site inspection and on-site supervision under extreme southern weather conditions.

Nicolás Correa

Collaborating Civil Constructor

Technical feasibility consultant for budget control and quantity takeoff. Nicolás coordinates the exact transition between BIM virtual model data and physical construction and assembly operations on site.

Our Own Technology Ecosystem

We don’t just use the best tools on the market; we also develop them. To optimize our clients’ design workflows, information transfer and budgets, we have created an exclusive set of interactive web applications:

CubicAI

An advanced cost estimation and quantity takeoff tool that integrates digital models with artificial intelligence, allowing clients to preview the financial feasibility of their investment in seconds.

HATCH.it

Interactive 3D web platform built on WebGL/Three.js technology that lets you explore construction details, materiality and textures in three dimensions directly from any device’s browser.

LocalTransfer

A proprietary point-to-point (P2P) file transfer manager — private, high-speed and free of size limits — optimized for the immediate delivery of heavy Revit models and 8K renders.

Hdri2Map8k

Smart cloud converter that turns traditional 360-degree HDRI images into optimized CubeMaps at resolutions up to 8K for quick use in real-time rendering engines.
